CONI

Obviously, if I wrote about Monica and Laura, I couldn't forget Coni.

Coni is the most weird, unique, vegetarian and individualistic person I've ever known. And the person who I most agree. There's a kind of empathy between both of us.

When I met her it was an instant connection, something that had never happened to me with anyone else before. She came to the high school, and we were at the same class, but at first, I only spoke to her as a companion, I wasn't interested in becoming her friend, and she of course neither. Then we went on a trip to Italy. I talked with her a few times, but as anyone else. But there's a moment I remember, we were waiting for the boat that would take us back to home. We started talking, and after a while I imagined a very funny situation, I thought that nobody would understand it, but it didn't. I started laughing, and she understood what I was thinking, and also began to laugh a lot. Since that time we've never stopped laughing. It's a very strange situation, but I felt very good when I saw that she coincided with me. It was like finding a friend that I was missing. To put trust in her was so easy, we became inseparables immediately.
Is the person with who I laugh more, hours and hours without stopping. There're always some stupid things to laugh, we also had to face bad moments, but we always have each other. She's very honest and sincere, sometimes too much, but me too with her. She's always there when I need it most, we tell each other everything. Sometimes we argue, but it all ends in a laugh. We've our own games and paranoids.

I can't imagine how my life would be if we hadn't meet.

I always need her, and wherever she is, I don't feel alone if I have her by my side.

TIRAMISU

Today I'd like to talk about my favorite dessert lately, though probably I'll change my opinion soon ...
I think the tiramisu is very easy to make and also tasty.
To make a tiramisu you'll need the following ingredients:

- 250g mascarpone cheese
- Coffee
- 3 eggs
- Whiskey
- 300 g of biscuits
- Plain chocolate
- A sugar spoon for each egg

1. Take the eggs and separate yolks from the whites.
2. Beat the yolks with sugar until obtain some kind of white cream.
3. Add the mascarpone and mix.
4. Then add the whites to the mixture, and remove it very slowly to make it fluffy.
5. Swim biscuits in coffee with some whiskey, and put them into a mold, alternating a layer of biscuits with a layer of cream.
6. Grate the chocolate and put it on the top.
7. Put it in the fridge for three hours at least, but it's best not to eat until the next day.

Have a good meal!

LAST WEEKEND

I want to talk about this weekend. I went to Barraques in Figueres. The first day was Thursday. I had to meet Mònica and Sebas, and also Laura. But they wanted to come later because they didn't want to go to the fairs, so I went before with Coni to ride the attractions. First we ride one that we didn't like much because it was so loose, but then we ride the Boomerang and the Booster and it was more funny. At 12 we met Mònica, Sebas and Nicky and we went to see Mägo de Oz. We went in the middle of the crowd and we went forward slowly. In fact I received many blows, but it was worth. It was raining hard and I was too wet. Later I met Cristian and we ate chocolate with "churros" and caramel apples, it was so yummy. After a while I had to go to home.
But I went back there on Saturday. But this time it wasn't to see any concert of any group, It was just to go from barraques to fairs and from fairs to barraques.

I must say that both nights were very funny and I enjoyed the attractions, because I like them a lot.

And I'm tired of writting now...

Today I want to talk about a very special friend for me, Mònica (alias Mòni, Mòki, Mono, Mokia...). I know her for about four years more or less. In fact I had seen her many times but I never talked to her. I still remember the first time that I talked to her. I lived in Empuriabrava and she also, and we were on the same bus. One day, I still don't know why, I sat beside her and we started to talk. But really it wasn't there where we met. In the second of ESO, we were at the same class, and we started talking more and more, and finally I discovered a new friend, who would become the most important.
I think that Mònica is a person who I always need, because it's a point of support. She knows everything about me and knows me perfectly. She knows always the just words to help me.In the worst moments I have always had her. I like to spend hours and hours talking with her, we have many things in common, and she always understands me and is always by my side. I don't know what I'd do without her, is an important part of my life. We've lived many things together, and I hope to live many more.

I think she deserved a post :)

And I'm going to post a very funny photo muajajajaja! (she'll kill me :S)

That's all.

ANIMAL MISTREATMENT

Today I'd like to talk about a problem that exists nowadays: the cruelty to animals. Most people are not aware of everything that millions and millions of animals around the world are suffering.
There are people who cause harm and suffering to animals. They aren't always people who hurt their own pets like dogs or cats, sometimes it's also for traditions or scientific investigations, for example the cockfighting, or the Spanish-style bullfighting (corridas de toros). In meat production and in the obtention of fur also implites suffering. In laboratories, they require smoking monkeys and rabbits until they die of lung cancer, for example, or they put makeup and cosmetics to rabbits in the eye until the eye ulcers. Only in USA, 64,000,000 of these animals die annually in medical experiments.
I think that circuses are also a sign of cruelty: animals live in very poor conditions, they live a half of their lives locked in cages, and in fact they are wild animals. And all this things are just to make a show to satisfy the yearning for greatness of people.

As everybody knows, animals can feel pain and anguish, and, unlike humans, animals cannot suppress their feelings.
We live in a society that mistreats animals for fun. I think we have no right to manipulate the lives of other animals. I think animal rights should be more recognized.

Well, that's all for today, I'll write more soon.

THE KWIK-E-MART

In the Simpsons TV serie, there's a supermarket, and its owner is an Indian man, his name is Apu. I discovered that several shopping centers in the United States have used this publicity to turn the supermarkets like in the series.
It's very funny 'cause there are many things equal: There's the same building with the same placard. Even the shopman looks like Apu. There's also the machine of the famous Squishees, which are called in Spanish "fresisuís". You can also buy the famous donuts from The Simpsons, with pink icing and colorful shavings. There's also the famous Krusty cereal, the KrustyO's. There are also figures of characters from the series, for example Homer, or the old man who was frozen in the refrigerator. In the walls are painted graffitis of "El Barto" (the Bart Simpson's signature) and caricatures of Skinner, the director of the school.
It's a very curious thing, I'd like to go there and be able to see it, I think it would be so funny.

Here you can see some photos:

Too much caffeine causes hallucinations

I recently read an article that I found very curious. It talks about caffeine efects on humans.
We all know the major effects of caffeine: decrease sleepiness and increase the ability to concentrate. But the article describes another curious effect: caffeine causes hallucinations.
A group of psychologists from Durham University, UK says that people who during the day consume the caffeine equivalent to seven cups of coffee are more likely to hear voices and suffering hallucinations. In fact, scientists say that auditory hallucinations are more common than we think: 3% of the population hears voices when there's no one really, but the risk is greater for people who consume coffee. Moreover, caffeine not only causes auditory hallucinations, they also see things that don't exist, like dead people. Scientists think that this is because coffee causes making more cortisol, the stress hormone.

So, if you think you see dead people or voices that doesn't exist, drink less coffee!
