LAURA

Today I dedicate it to her, because yesterday was her birthday.

Yesterday she finally met 16 years, after waiting for a long time, jajaja!

She is a very good person, always by my side, knows me and helps me when I need it.

She has never disappointed me and I know she won't do it.

We've shared thousands of anecdotes together, we laughed a lot, we've shared many moments that I won't forget.

It makes already more than 4 years that I know her and has become an indispensable person for me.

She's such a really good friend.

She deserves much more than this dedication, but it's a way to fill posts muajajaja!

This week she has celebrated it with her family and her cousins, but next week we will make a part or something to celebrate it together, because it would have been finished exams jajaj!

THE SIMPSONS & FAMILY GUY

Let's talk about my two favourite TV series, The Simpsons and Family Guy.

The Simpsons is an American animated sitcom created by Matt Groening for the Fox. Is a satirical parody of the middle class American lifestyle epitomized by its titular family, which consists of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. The show is set in the fictional town of Springfield, and lampoons many aspects of the human condition including American culture, society, and television. Homer, the father, works as a safety inspector at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant—a position at odds with his careless, buffoonish personality. He is married to Marge Simpson, a stereotypical American housewife and mother. They have three children: Bart, a ten-year-old troublemaker; Lisa, a precocious eight-year-old activist; and Maggie, a baby who rarely speaks, but communicates by sucking on a pacifier. There are also a lot of of secondary and tertiary characters.

I like this series because I like the way it criticizes American society and the world at large, and I laugh much with most scenes.

I've watched all the chapters except the new season, but I never got bored of seeing them, and I have a guide where there are all the chapters written. I've read it a lot of times.

I watch this series from the 8 years or so, long time ago!

Family Guy is an animated American television sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane that airs on Fox and regularly on other television networks in syndication. The show centers on a semi-dysfunctional family that lives in the fictional town of Quahog, Rhode Island. The show uses frequent "cutaway gags", jokes in the form of tangential vignettes. The show revolves around the adventures of Peter Griffin, a bumbling but well-intentioned blue-collar worker. Peter is an Irish American Catholic with a thick Rhode Island / Eastern Massachusetts accent. His wife Lois is generally a stay-at-home mother and piano teacher, and has a distinct New York accent from being a member of the Pewterschmidt family of wealthy socialites. Peter and Lois have three children: teenage daughter Meg, who is frequently the butt of jokes due to her homeliness and lack of popularity; teenage son Chris, who is overweight, unintelligent and, in many respects, a younger version of his father; infant son Stewie, a diabolical infant of ambiguous sexual orientation who has adult mannerisms and speaks fluently with an affected upper-class, mid-Atlantic English accent and stereotypical archvillain phrases. Living with the family is Brian, the family dog, who is highly anthropomorphized, walks on two legs, drinks Martinis, smokes cigarettes and engages in human conversation, though he is still considered a pet in many respects.

A little over two years that I see this series, but already I've seen almost every chapter. It has a more black humor, more cruel, but it makes me laugh a lot. The character I like most is Stewie, I think he's a child that's unique and very original
and makes me laugh a lot the way he hates his mother, jajaja!

Well, that's all for today...

Today I want to talk about my cat, or rather I have to say about my beloved fur ball jajaja!
Well, she’s is a rare thing (yes, she’s a female). If you take a look at this ball you can see a pair of honey color eyes (in fact, they’re precious), and a flat nose black with a pink stain that she has since she was born. The rest is just fluff, jajaja! The color of her fur is brown, mixed with dark brown, honey-colored, black and other colors that will surely have no name, jajaja!
She has learned to meow when she's hungry, and she won't be silent until you have given her food. Also when she gets bored, or at night when she doesn't want to sleep, then she bother me and she doesn't stop until I wake up, so I can say that she ‘s such a bore! And she is a machine of poop U.Ú
However, it's the best cat in the whole world (in my opinion, of course), and I love her very much. She's always close to me and giving me company, is very affectionate. He likes to play a lot and even sometimes it hurts me, but I don't know what would I do without her, is part of me, and I know she won't never fail me.

No more to say...

Bye!

Electric guitar

I want to talk about the electric guitar, my favourite instrument, and, after a long time I have one, and I'm learning to play it.

An electric guitar is a type of guitar that uses pickups to convert the vibration of its steel-cored strings into an electrical current, which is made louder with an instrument amplifier and a speaker. The signal that comes from the guitar is sometimes electronically altered with guitar effects such as reverb or distortion. While most electric guitars have six strings, seven-string instruments are used by some jazz guitarists and metal guitarists (especially in nu metal), and 12-string electric guitars (with six pairs of strings, four of which are tuned in octaves) are used in genres such as jangle pop and rock.

Let's talk about my guitar:

Fender Squier Bullet Stratocaster with tremolo is an electric guitar that emulates the aesthetics of the Fender Stratocaster, but with modifications to reduce cost. Like the Squier Stratocaster, it is not considered a strat copy as it is manufactured by Squier, a subsidiary of Fender and, therefore, still retained under the Fender brand name. It's a simple, affordable and practical guitar designed for beginners. It is not a professional guitar, but I think it sounds good, and has a good value for money. Mine is red and white, with a dark mastil.

PIZZA

Well today I'm going to talk about pizza, my favourite food.

Pizza is a popular dish made with an oven-baked, flat, generally round bread that is covered with tomatoes or a tomato-based sauce and mozzarella cheese. Other toppings are added according to region, culture or personal preference. Originating as a part of Italian cuisine, the dish has become popular in many different parts of the world.

Crisp, chewy, cheesy, saucy, thick or thin... from Naples to California, pizza means different things in different regions.

Neapolitan: Normally cooked in a wood-fired or brick oven, good Neapolitan pizza emerges with an extremely thin, bubbled crust. Slightly charred areas will offer hints of bitterness to offset the sweet-tangy flavor of tomato sauce and the licorice flavor of julienned basil. Scattered pieces of fresh mozzarella accent, rather than cover, the tomato sauce. A Neapolitan pizza is never served by the slice, and rarely comes out pre-cut.

Chicago: Chicagoans are all about quantity when it comes to pizza. The thick crust is best when made with oil and butter, providing a crisp, breadlike texture and buttery flavor. The sauce is on top and the cheese on the bottom, and a bevy of ingredients, ranging from sausage to cooked peppers and onions, are stuffed in between. Fork and knife are required.

California: Seasonal ingredients, often organic and local, define California pizza. The crust thinner is better, is merely the vehicle for showcasing the bounty of the season. From stinging nettles to orange bergamot, anything is fair game when it comes to toppings for a California pizza.

New York: A true New York pizza will have a blanket of blistered cheese covering a thin crust and a layer of sweet tomato sauce. Too many toppings are sacrilegious to a die-hard New York pizza-lover, nothing should ruin the pure genius of a plain slice. And it tastes better if you fold it in half.

I think the pizza is a great invention, because you can include many ingredients in one dish. In addition, it's delicious!
And I think I'm going to have a piza for dinner today..I'm hungry hahaha!
That's all.
Bye!

DOMINO

Today I've thought to talk about a film, and I've decided to talk about DOMINO.

Domino it's about the daughter of an actor with a high-society woman, Domino Harvey, bored with her life, decides to join the team of Ed Mosley and becomes a bounty hunter. But she gets in trouble when the Mafia's money is stolen from an armored truck, while Mosley and his crew are in action participating of a reality show produced by Mark Heiss. The situation becomes out of control when the sons of a rival mobster are kidnapped while FBI is monitoring the two gangs of mobsters.

It's based on the true story of Domino Harvey, daughter of film actor Laurence Harvey.

I think it's interesting the personality of Domino, because I think she wants to seem tough, but actually she has her weaknesses.

I also like her name, I think it's very original jajaja!

Well, no more to say for today...

Bye!

SID VICIOUS

I want to talk about this character, because I don't know exactly why, but I admire him. Sid Vicious was the bassist of the British punk band Sex Pistols. He was involved in the birth of punk but died of a drug overdose at only 21 years.

Vicious was born in London on May 10 of 1957. First he lived in Ibiza, where his mother worked of drug trafficker. Later they movoed to London. From childhood, Sid was always fascinated by characters who quickly achieved fame and they die young.

He was the most fanatical of the Sex Pistols and he was friend of Johnny Rotten, the singer. Johnny asked him if he wanted to join the group, and he accepted, although he didn't know to play the bass, but he learned. He became the pure face of punk.

He met the groupie Nancy Spungen, and they started a relationship. She showed him the heroin, and became dependent on heroin, from that moment everything got worse. This affected Sid Vicious and also to the whole group, which was separated during their tour of the United States in 1978.

On October 12, 1978, someone murdered Nancy and Sid was arrested and charged with her murder, but for lack of evidence they had to leave him free.

After some time Sid died of an overdose of heroin, which provided him with his mother.

Sid was controversial, libertine, visionary and provocative. I think I admire his attitude, although I regret that because of his girlfriend, he addicted to heroin and wasted his life. However, he was a true icon of the punk movement, and I think that without Sid, Sex Pistols would never be the same.

I'm still looking for reasons, but I don't know entirely yet why I admire him so much, jajaja!

Bye!

A while ago i was listening to music and I listened a song that was a long time that I wasn't listening, and I think it's a very beautiful song, so I decided to put it here in the blog to fill posts jajaja!

The song is called Wasted time, and it's from Skid Row.

Skid Row is an American hard rock and heavy metal band, formed in 1986 in Toms River, New Jersey. They are named after Phil Lynott and Gary Moore's first band. They were most successful in the late 1980s and early 1990s when their first two albums with lead singer Sebastian Bach and drummer Rob Affuso were multi-platinum successes. Their current line-up consists of Johnny Solinger (vocals), Dave "The Snake" Sabo, Scotti Hill (guitar), Rachel Bolan (bass) and Dave Gara (drums). As of the end of 1996 the band has sold over 20 million albums worldwide.
As of 2008, Skid Row has released five full-length albums, an EP, a compilation album, and a live album. For album and single sales information, see the Skid Row discography page. They became popular with their first two albums, Skid Row and Slave to the Grind, which are often considered their best-known works to date. Their last full-length studio album, Revolutions per Minute, came out on October 24, 2006.

I think the song is very moving, and I don't know exactly what it is, but I like so much the feeling that I have when I listen it. It also has a very nice guitar solo, jajaja!

I put here the lyrics:

You and I together in our lives
Sacred ties would never fray
Then why cant I let myself tell lies
And watch you die every day

I think back to the times
When dreams were what mattered
Tough talking youth naivete

You said you never let me down
But the horse stampedes and rages
In the name of desperation

Is it all just wasted time
Can you look at yourself
When you think of what
You left behind

Is it all just wasted time
Can you live with yourself
When you think of what
You left behind

Paranoid delusions they haunt you
Wheres my friend I used to know
Hes all alone
Hes buried deep within a carcass
Searching for a soul

Can you feel me inside your heart
As its bleeding
Why cant you belive you
Cant be loved

I hear you scream in agony
And the horse stampedes and rages
In the name of desperation

Is it all just wasted time
Can you look at yourself
When you think of what
You left behind

Is it all just wasted time
Can you live with yourself
When you think of what
You left behind

You said you never let me down
But the horse stampedes and rages
In the name of desperation

Is it all just wasted time
Can you look at yourself
When you think of what
You left behind

Is it all just wasted time
Can you live with yourself
When you think of what
You left behind

The sun will rise again
The earth will turn to sand
Creations colors seem to fade to grey
And youll see the sickly hands of time
Will write your final rhyme
And end a memory

I never thought youd let it get
This far, boy

HALLOWEEN

Well, today I'm going to talk about Halloween, a holiday celebrated on October 31. People do trick-or-treacking, ghost tours, bonfires, costume parties, visiting haunted attractions, carving jack o' lanterns, reading scary stories, and watching horror movies. It's the night of witches.

This day coincides with the birthday of my friend Thaïs, so we went to celebrate it.
At first we wanted to buy horror masks for a horror costume, but when we went to buy we didn't find any that we liked, so we went without mask. U.Ú

We had a lot of fun throughout the night, we saw horror films and also we did some little acts of hooliganism that I'm not going to tell jajaja!

Then we went to sleep at Thaïs home, at first we went to her ship to have more fear, but we were too people inside and we had to leave it.

Finally we went to the sofa and we slept all there, it was so uncomfortable, but we were all tired, so we all slept jajaja

In fact, I slept really fatal u.ú

I can say it was a good halloween, despite everything. =D

And unfortunately, I have no photo jajaja!

Nothing more to say..

Bye!
